Greenfield, WI…Join the sisterhood of the traveling photo booth on Friday, October 20, anytime between 10am and 3pm, at Hickory Park Senior Living, located at 3933 S. Prairie Hill Lane, Greenfield, WI, to pose with purpose During Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Women—and men—from the area are invited to join Hickory Park’s senior residents and team members to raise money for After Breast Cancer Diagnosis (ABCD), a non-profit organization that supports people diagnosed with breast cancer, including Danielle Fischer, Hickory Park’s own Director of Sales and Marketing.
Smile and wear pink, or choose from a selection of pink accessories provided by Hickory Park. An anonymous donor will give $2 to ABCD for every picture snapped. Guests will receive complimentary digital photos to post and share on social media to raise breast cancer awareness and can contribute to the cause with a donation or by purchasing $5 raffle tickets for a chance to win a Pretty in Pink gift basket.
“Right before I started my new role at Hickory Park in December of 2022, I squeezed in a bunch of appointments, including a mammogram,” recalls Fischer. “Shortly after, I received the news no one wants to hear. Breast cancer.”
Bringing awareness to early breast cancer detection and ABCD’s helpful resources is personal to Fischer, who was supported by an ABCD mentor during her treatment.
“My work team rallied—this girl was surrounded with support and love from day one,” says Fischer. “I am happy to announce the support continues, and my team has decided to go all out for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”
You, too, can go all out to support Fischer and anyone you know personally who has been impacted by breast cancer by participating in Hickory Park’s Photo Booth Fundraiser! For more information, contact Danielle Fischer at (414) 514-9667 or dfischer@encorecares.com.
